How much fun is it to open your mailbox and find an envelope addressed to you? So much if you ask me!! This week I received two congratulatory cards for getting into nursing school...Yeah!!

What do good college students do on spring break? That's right...go to the public library and study!! Mariela and I don't care because we got into Nursing School!

Today I received wonderful news...I've been anxiously waiting to hear from a nursing school I applied to and today I found out that I was ACCEPTED!!!! So, I am now a student of Ellis Hospital School of Nursing Class of 2012!! Yipee!!

My favorite lab...it is fun to incubate bacteria and see what happens to it in a few days!

For the last few weeks I've been "playing" with skeletons in my A&P lab. At the beginning of the semester my lab group named our's Fred! Today he was "feeling" our pain!

Mariela and I studying for A&P...we study for 7 hours a week in the library. It is the best way to stay ahead on our classes. I am so thankful for her...she is such a great resource...we share information with each other!

Finally on my way home tonight...it was a long day as every Thursday is (and Tuesday too!). This was taken with my cell phone and I promise I was stopped at a red light.

Maybe this blog should be titled "A day in the life of a mommy who is a student"!!!! Every Monday and Wednesday I have a 3 hour break between classes and I meet a fellow classmate (and mother of two) for study time. We are taking the exact same classes, so this makes me accountable to someone else...which I need sometimes!
